Terms for Submissions

Introduction:

Now that OpenNS is in Alpha and has chosen a license, it would be useful to have a clear set of terms for the event that someone were to wish to make submissions. It may be as simple as the proper representation of what OpenNS is. It’s just modeling Socioeconomics in some naturalized manner.

Science:

This is the methodology that is initially chosen for OpenNS. It’s of course, obviously a naturalized methodology.

Natural Philosophy:

Natural Philosophy is the mother of science and probably more than acceptable for submissions to OpenNS.

Spinozan Naturalism:

For a more spiritual context, Spinozan Naturalism may fit the bill as it is a more naturalized interpretation of Theology. The trick may be to concentrate on observations of outcomes and their influences. I find this particularly interesting; as it would make OpenNS more generally welcoming.

Conservationism:

Conservationism is not only known for modeling environmental coordination, it’s been a platform for enforcement that has had varying degrees of success. It has often prevented some of the worst outcomes in instances of encroachment. This could be valuable not only for general modeling but also for certain specifics.

Terms:

There may be more examples that would be appropriate; but the preceding are just the more well known ones. The deciding factor is that the submissions should be based in observation of outcomes and their observed influences. The context just needs to be naturalized. This may suggest that any “ism” may be or become appropriate if considered in a naturalized manner. This is particularly important for OpenNS; as coordination and cooperation are key principles to the model. This would of course include the various worldviews found in the many social systems. Politics may even be appropriate if naturalized. This isn’t generally or commonly the case; however, it’s not necessarily a defeater. As ling as observed influences and outcomes are present, and the context is some form of naturalism, the submission may be appropriate. So the terms may boil down to two criteria. There is however a third requirement for the sake of being in line with Economics.

1) The submission must be based in accounts for observed influences and outcomes.

2) The submissions must be based in some form of Naturalism; or some naturalized version of some school of thought.

3) Submissions must be in the interest of coordinating and cooperating with the vast majority of natural systems. Of course some naturally occurring systems are not in the least bit cooperative. For instance, diseases often kill their hosts. This would suggest that some degree of discretion is in order. The proper context for this may be Conservationism.

Disclaimer:

This project has no funding and no earnings. It has nothing to give or take; outside of the free sharing of information. That is the purpose of an Open project. If a submission is not accepted, it is probably because it wasn’t in line with the spirit of the project. In such instances, one can begin one’s own project.
